While there were many topics that were dear to my heart in this interview the launch of the Mind Dojo App is an incredibly exciting development.

Why Mind Dojo?
Everybody is so time poor and under pressure that it wears us down and affects our productivity at work, our relationships at home and ultimately our health and well-being.

Mind Dojo is a powerful methodology that combines the best of western scientific research in neuroscience, psychology and mindbody health along with eastern philosophies and healing practices to cultivate your mental strength.

Through its 6 Core Foundations, the Mind Dojo app:

  • Builds resilience and the mental strength to respond proactively to adversity
  • Improves your emotional agility and how to positively deal with constant change
  • Teaches simple relaxation and mindfulness exercise to increase your calm
  • Helps you to be more present in everything that you do
  • helps you to understand how to create a peak performance mindset in all areas of your life

      and much more…..

The 6 Foundations of Mind Dojo

Foundation 1: Be Energy Smart
Know your BASE – Breathing, Activity, Sleeping, Eating. You’ve got to get your base solid as the other foundations are built on this.

Foundation 2: Be Present
Being here now requires training of the mind and your full attention is the greatest gift you can give someone.

Foundation 3: Be Emotionally Agile
The only negative emotion is a stuck one. We need to accept our feelings and be able to move forward.

Foundation 4: Be Playful
The opposite of Play is not Work – it’s death. If you’re not playing, you’re slowly dying. You need to down time to rejuvenate and hold life lightly.

Foundation 5: Be Compassionate
Compassion recognises that to be human means to suffer and compassion needs to be directed at ourselves and others.

Foundation 6: Be Connected
We are hard-wired to connect and having a quality relationship is the number one determining factor for our happiness.

Wade has had the app out on a Beta trial through AUT and has over 4000 users engaging with it daily. It is going to  be launched to the general public in June so Watch This Space!
