I’m Giving You These 3 Bags…

Last updated on October 21, 2019

If I gave you 3 bags full of Time, Energy and Money at the start of the day, how would you spend them?

Based on how you spent them, would it be obvious which bag you valued the most?

With more money, you can buy back more time, and with more time you can do things that give you more energy…which could result in more clarity, making better choices, resulting in making more money, then investing that money to continually give you more energy…better food, better working environment, better team members, better coaches, better holidays, better home comforts…

Or would you gamble these things away, wasting time on the internet checking the latest shocking news headlines, or check Facebook every 10 minutes for some life changing – can’t be missed posts, or jump on Instagram to scroll mindlessly through a never ending scroll to provide more dopamine hits…

Time Energy Money Problem

So what is the most important bag? Money… Energy… or would it be Time?

Time has to be the most important thing we have yet many of us are guilty thinking it is infinite, yet we hear how common it is for people laying on their death bed saying that they would give anything just to get back more time…

I wanted to write this as both an inspiration and a wake up call.

Don’t be like everyone else wishing away their life away, where they try to find mindless things to do that can ‘kill time’.

What is your plan to get back more time? To spend and invest time more wisely? What things in your life can you change?

Where are you currently wasting time? Could be little habits that you have been doing for months or years.

What inspiring goals do you have? How can you actually make them happen rather than continually transferring them to next years goals list!

What would Jeff Bezos (the owner of Amazon) say if he sat on your shoulder for the day? Would he be amazed at how focused and productive you were? Or would he be shaking his head in disbelief, fully understanding why you never achieve what you think you want to achieve?

Remember, life is a journey and something that we can continually optimise. Feed your mind and body with the right tools, thoughts, nutrition, guidance, expertise – and have a plan to win!
